Alina and Omrane met unexpectedly through friends during their MBA at London Business School.
Germany, Iceland, France, Greece, Italy, Oman, Colombia, India, Japan, and counting!
They are now living together in Dubai, working hard to afford many more future trips together.
Getting to Verona
Most guests will be flying internationally — Milan and Venice are the most convenient entry points, with excellent onward train connections to Verona.
The best option for most international travellers. High-speed trains from Milan Centrale to Verona Porta Nuova run regularly, taking approximately 1 hr 30 min. By car, about 1 hr 45 min via the A4 motorway.
Excellent option, especially if you'd like to explore Venice before or after the wedding. Trains from Venice Mestre to Verona run frequently in approximately 1 hr 10 min. By car, roughly 1 hr 20 min via the A4.
Verona's own airport is just 12 km from the city centre — approximately 20 minutes by taxi. Limited international connections, but worth checking if a direct flight is available from your departure city.
Villa Arvedi is in Grezzana, approximately 12 km northeast of central Verona — about a 20-minute drive.
The most convenient option. Pre-book a taxi from your hotel in central Verona. Expect approx. €20–30 one-way. See the Q&A page for taxi companies and apps.
Car rental is available at all airports and at Verona Porta Nuova station. Driving is straightforward and parking is available at Villa Arvedi.
We will be organising return shuttles after the evening celebrations that will drop guests off in central Verona. Pick-up times and drop-off points will be shared closer to the date — no need to worry about getting home!

If you've hired a car, you're free to leave whenever suits you. Parking is available at the villa throughout the evening.

Everything You Need to Know
We recommend staying in central Verona — a walkable, UNESCO-listed city and the perfect base. Both Milan and Venice are also excellent alternatives if you'd like to extend your trip, as Verona is only ~1.5 hours by train from either city.
Late September is lovely — warm days around 18–24°C (64–75°F) and cooler evenings dipping to 12–15°C (54–59°F). Occasional light rain is possible, so a light scarf, wrap, and compact umbrella are worth packing. Ideal for outdoor celebrations.
Verona's historic centre is small and easily walkable. For transport beyond walking:

- Uber — available in Verona but only as Uber Black (premium, more expensive). AppTaxi is the better everyday option.

💡 Many drivers don't speak English — ask your hotel to call on your behalf if needed. Bring cash in euros as not all taxis accept card.
- Via Mazzini & surrounding streets — Verona's main lifestyle thoroughfare, with several upscale hair studios nearby.
- Hotel spa services — VISTA Verona and Hotel Giberti have in-house spas. Ask your concierge for recommendations.
- Search "parrucchiere donna Verona centro" on Google Maps for hair salons, or "centro estetico Verona" for beauty treatments.
We recommend booking appointments well in advance — September is a peak period.
Ladies: Long dress, cocktail dress, or elegant pants suit / jumpsuit.
Note: The ceremony is in the gardens of Villa Arvedi. Ladies may wish to consider heel-friendly footwear for the outdoor garden setting.
